The ‘A’RateYourAttic Team arrived on time, met the spec we had agreed on (and more) and left the site spotless upon completion. They even disposed of the existing jerry-built bits and pieces of wood and plastic serving as insulation on our two attic water tanks. The tanks and piping are now beautifully insulated and wrapped, new, insulated, raised flooring has been installed to replace the old shaky MDF that was there before and deep rock wool now covers every inch of the attic including the area above the bay windows.

Loft Roll (Floor)
Attic Insulation is recommended and the best method for insulation is at ceiling level. Creating a Cold Attic area, Stopping the heat escaping at ceiling level will make your home warmer and more comfortable. Loft Insulation is the more efficient method and will prevent you from using energy for heating your attic. The benefits are massive and the insulation works are completed within a day. Spray Foam (Roof)
Spray foam insulation is recommended if you are converting the attic or planning to in the future. Opposite to insulating the floor, insulating between the roof rafters allows heat to travel in the attic void which is recommended if you are planning to turn it in to living space. If you have no intention of converting the attic in to a room we would recommend Floor Insulation. Spray Foam will too increase the comfort and value of your property.
